Using the Ocean Wave Twinkling H2O as a 'sky' is the perfect backdrop for the Lockhart Sweat peas # 2100, especially since the way the watercolor dried...the stamped image 'just fits' into the contours of color. The stamped image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.
A couple of postings ago we talked about creating watercolor backgrounds on white Inchie Squares with Twinkling H2O paints. Half of the fun is not knowing exactly how they will look until they are completely dry. As we continue to paint we have been turning some of them into cards!
This photo just doesn't capture the subtlety of the Key Lime (H2O) watercolor in the lower left corner and the bit of French Lilac (H2O) in the upper right of the Inchie Square. They work perfectly to highlight the Lockhart Itty Bitty Grapes # 3018- this card would make a great invitation! The stamped image was colored with 'grape' colored Copic markers.
It's those violets again...Lockhart Violet Cupcake # 2012! l love this stamp as it is very versatile in the way it can be colored! The stamped image was colored with Copic markers.
All of the cards featured are from the different color assortments of Inchie Notes. Be sure and check inchiearts.com for a complete listing of all the stores (on line and in your neighborhood) that carry our products.
