OK, this is weird. It's 80+ degrees in the Pacific Northwest and record setting for this time of year. Talk about an extended summer! The plants are even confused - I have perrenials that are having a second bloom.
I have a tendency to create for the mood, or weather at hand. I never was very good at following the months ahead strategies of fashion and retail. So what a great excuse to not have to put away one of my favorite Lockhart stamps from this summer - so it's a last gasp for Patio Petunias!!
If you are like me you immediately use your favorites out of the Inchie Papers packages. I hate to admit it, but there are certain patterns and colors that I automatically gravitate towards each time I open a new package. That may leave colors and patterns that might not 'work' with the cards that I am currently making. I remember a gal in one of my classes telling me she saves everything; and taking her advice I kept a stash of 'odds and ends' Inchie Papers.
This card is great way to create a collage of those different colors and patterns. The key is to find Inchie Papers that match and coordinate with how you have colored the stamped image. Give it a try, you will be amazed at the fun combinations that you can put together...and with 108 different patterned paper squares in each package...there are endless possiblities!
(if you haven't used Inchie Papers yet, they are a great way to 'tune up' a simple card!)
